Sooryavanshi is a Hindi-language action movie directed and written by Rohit Shetty. It is produced by Reliance Entertainment, Rohit Shetty Picturez, Dharma Productions, and Cape Of Good Films in 2021.

It is based on a script by Yunus Sajawal and an original storey by Shetty. It stars Akshay Kumar alongside Katrina Kaif, with Jaaved Jaaferi, Vivan Bhatena, Niharica. In cameo appearances, Ajay Devgn and Ranveer Singh reprise their roles as Singham and Simmba from the franchise’s prior flicks.

Kumar’s character was revealed near the end of Simmba, and it functioned as Sooryavanshi’s character introduction.

Tanishk Bagchi, Lijo George – DJ Chetas, and JAM8 composed the film’s soundtrack, while Rashmi Virag, Shabbir Ahmed, Anand Bakshi, and Tanishk Bagchi wrote the lyrics.

“Aila Re Aillaa” is a remake of the song of the same name from the 2010 film Khatta Meetha.

The song “Najaa” is a remix of Pav Dharia’s original Punjabi song of the same name from 2017.

The song “Tip Tip Barsa Pani” is a remake of the same name from the film Mohra, and it features Alka Yagnik and Udit Narayan on vocals.
