Jayeshbhai Jordaar is a 2022 Indian Hindi-language comedy-drama film written and directed by Divyang Thakkar, and produced by Aditya Chopra and Maneesh Sharma under Yash Raj Film.
The movie stars Ranveer Singh as Jayeshbhai “Jayesh” Jordaar; Shalini Pandey as Mudra, Jayesh’s wife, Boman Irani as Pruthvish, Jayesh’s father, Ratna Pathak Shah as Jashoda, Jayesh’s mother, Jia Vaidya as Siddhi, Jayesh and Mudra’s daughter; ,Deeksha Joshi as Preeti, Jayesh’s sister; Puneet Issar as Amar Tau; and Ragi Jani as Sanjay, Jayesh’s uncle.
The film was based on the story of a son (Ranveer Singh) of a patriarchal Gujarati couple (Boman Irani and Ratna Pathak Shah) who takes off on a road trip with his pregnant wife Mudra (Shalini Pandey) as she was going to give birth to her second daughter, but her parents were not happy to know that she was going to give birth to a girl child again.

The film was released theatrically on May 13, 2022. At the domestic box office, the film earned more than 3.25 crore on its opening day and now within a week total domestic weekend collection raised to 12 crore.
Jayeshbhai Jordaar received mixed reviews from critics. Nairita Mukherjee of India Today rated the film 3.5 out of 5 stars and also wrote, “Ranveer is a class apart.”
