Atrangi Re is an Indian hindi-language musical romantic drama which released on 24 December 2021 exclusively on Disney + Hotstar. The film revolves around a girl named Rinku Sooryavanshi who is forcefully married to a south Indian boy Vishu, potrayed by superstar Dhanush. Strangely, Vishu is too forced for the marriage and has been kidnapped by Rinku’s family.

The movie revolves around Vishu and Rinku’s life and how eventually Vishu falls in love with Rinku. However, things take a turn with the entry of Sajjad Ali, played by Akshay Kumar. Rinku is left confused with her feelings and eventually has to choose between one of them. The movie’s shoot was halted owing to the pandemic but the audience will finally see Dhanush, Sara Ali Khan and Akshay Kumar in one frame.

The film is written and directed by Himanshu Sharma and Aanand L. Rai. The movie is produced by Aanand L. Rai, Himanshu Sharma, Bhushan Kumar andKrishan Kumar.The movie’s cinematography and editing is done by Pankaj Kumar and Hemal Kothari respectively. The music score is given by the evergreen legendary composer A.R.Rahman.
