83 is an upcoming hindi movie which would released on 24 December 2021 under the banner of Reliance Entertainment, Phantom Films, Vibri Media, KA Productions, Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, Kabir Khan Films. The multi-starrer film has a list of talented actors like Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone,Harrdy Sandhu, Ammy Virk, Boman Irani, Pankaj Tripathi and many more.

83, as the name suggests, revolves around the 1983 World Cup when Kapil Dev and his team created a history by winning the first ever World Cup for India and defeating the mighty West Indies. The movie takes you through a roller coaster of emotions, from being looked upon as someone inferior to be hailed as heroes, the film has a perfect blend of emotions which would definitely make you nostalgic and Kabir Khan as usual leaves the audience in awe and craving for more. The shooting began on 5^th June 2019 in England prior to which Reliance Entertainment, in 2017, hosted an event along with the 1983 World Cup winning team to announce the same.

Originally scheduled to be released on 10 April 2020 the film was pushed to 25 December 2020 owing to the pandemic , which was again pushed as the opening of cinemas was banned. Finally after a wait of more than a year, the audience would get to see the movie in nearby theatres very soon.Along with Hindi, the movie will be released in Tamil, Telugu, Malyalam and Kannada.

The film is written by Kabir Khan,Sanjay Puran Singh, Chauhan,Vasan Bala while the dialogues are written by Kabir Khan,Sumit Arora. The movie’s cinematography and editing is done by Aseem Mishra and Nitin Braid respectively. The music score is given by Julius Pacoima while the songs are given by the popular music composer Pritam.
