Manoj Muntashir Biography :

Manoj Shukla is an Indian lyricist, poet, and screenwriter best known by his stage name Manoj Muntashir. He produced a number of popular Hindi film songs.

Muntashir was born Manoj Shukla on February 27, 1976, into a farming family in Gauriganj, Amethi, Uttar Pradesh, India. He went to a HAL School Korwa there. After earning his degree from Allahabad University in 1999, he relocated to Mumbai in search of employment. He later entered the TV and film industries after being given the chance to write for Kaun Banega Crorepati.

Teri Mitti, Galliyan, Tere Sang Yaara, Kaun Tujhe, Dil Meri Na Sune, and Phir Bhi Tumko Chaahunga are just a few of his well-known pieces.
Numerous Hindi cinema songs, including “Galliyan” from the movie “Ek Villain,” “Tere Sang Yaara” from “Rustom,” “Kaun Tujhe” from “MS Dhoni: The Untold Story,” and “Dil Meri Na Sune” from “Genius,” were written by Muntashir.

In addition to working with musicians like Anu Malik, Amaal Mallik, Himesh Reshammiya, and Sonu Nigam, he has written screenplays for India’s Got Talent and Indian Idol Junior. For Baahubali 2, Muntashir composed the Hindi lines, dubbing the phrases in Hindi to match the Telugu actors’ lip motions. Later, he received a request to carry out the same task for the Hollywood production Black Panther.

He has also written the singles: Zindagi Aa Raha Hoon Main (2015) by Atif Aslam, Aa Bhi Ja Tu Kahin Se (2015) by Sonu Nigam, Maiya Teri Jai Jaikaar (2016) by Arijit Singh , Pyaar Manga Hai (2016) by Armaan Malik , Tumhe Dillagi (2016) by Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Aap Se Mausiiquii (2016) (album ) by Himesh Reshammiyan.
In 2014, he won the award for “Indian Telly Awards-Best Script” for the show India’s got Talent.

In 2015, he won the award for “IIFA Awards-Best Lyrics”, “Hungama Surfers Choice Award”, “Arab Indo Bollywood Awards”, and “The Indian Icon Film Awards” for the song Galliyan from the movie Ek Villian.

In 2018, he won the award for “IIFA Awards-Best Lyrics” for the song Mere Rashke Qamar -Baadshaho.

His honours have included the Radio Mirchi Music Awards, the IIFA Awards, and the Yash Bharti Award. Meri Fitrat Hai Mastana is the title of a book he released in 2019.
