Benny Dayal is an Indian singer who was born on 13 May 1984 in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Dayal’s parents belong from Kollam district in Kerala. He was born and brought up in Abu Dhabi, UAE and completed his schooling there from Abu Dhabi Indian School (ADIS). He completed his B. Com and Master’s degree in Journalism from Madras Christian College.

Benny Dayal Biography

He is a prominent singer in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, Bengali, Gujarati, Marathi and many more languages. He has sung more than 2000 songs in 16 Indian languages.

The singer had actually begun his career with the legendary SP Balasubrahmanyam. They had worked together in ‘Balleilakka’, a song from the RajniKanth and Shriya Saran starrer, Sivaji (2007). The song sung by SP Balasubrahmanyam, AR Reihana and Benny Dayal.

However, Dayal came into spotlight with his song “Kaise Mujhe Tum Mil Gayi” from the movie Ghajini which earned him RD Burman Award for New Music Talent in 2009. The singer also won Max Stardust Awards for New Musical Sensation for the song “Pappu Can’t Dance” composed by A.R. Rahman from the movie “Jaane Tu…ya jaane na”  in the same year.

He made his acting debut from the Malayalam movie “By The People”. The flick was a suspense thriller movie and all the songs were sung by all S5 members and it was during that time A.R. Rahman noticed him, and give a chance of an audition. Benny went on to sing many superhit songs like “Nazrein Milana Nazrein Churana”, “Rehna Tu”, “Pocket Mein Rocket Hai”, “Aadat Se Majboor”, “Daru Desi”,”Lat lag gyi”,”Badtameez dil”,”Bang Bang” “Locha-e-Ulfat”, “Jai Jai Shiv Shankar”,”Maya Maya”, “O Nenje”, “Taxi Taxi”,”Chinnamma Chilakkamma” and many more..
