Arijit Singh is an Indian playback singer. He is mostly singing Hindi and Bengali songs. He is born on 25th April 1987 at Jiaganj, West Bengal. Singh is famous for his soulful voice. Arijit Singh is setting new trends of songs, especially for youngsters.
Arijit got trained in classical singing at an early age. He is well known in classical music, tabla, Rabindra sangeet and pop music. He gives credit to his three gurus – Rajendra Prasad Hazari, Dhirendra Prasad Hazari and Birendra Prasad Hazari.
Mr.Arijit Singh started his career as a playback singer when he was studying in college. He made his Bollywood debut in 2009 with the song “Phir Mohabbat” from the movie sMurder 2. Arijit won the hearts of the audience with the song Tum Hi Ho. He awarded Best Male Playback singer award for this song.
Some of his popular songs are Suno Na Sangemarmar, Sanam Re, Muskurane Ki Wajah Tum Ho, Hamari Adhuri Kahani, Kabira, Samjhawan and many other songs. Arijit also worked with his favorite music directors Sajid-Wajid and A. R. Rehman. He performed two tracks Main Tera Hero and Raat Bhar with Sajid-Wajid.
