Alisha Chinai is an Indian pop singer.She was born on 18 March 1965. who is renowned for her Indi-pop albums and Hindi film playback singing.

She began her singing career in 1985 with the release of the album Jadoo, and by the 1990s, she had earned the title of “Queen of Indipop.”

Bappi Lahiri, a prominent music director, and composer introduced Alisha to Hindi cinema music. In the 1980s, they had several disco hits together in films including Tarzan, Dance Dance, Commando, Guru, Love Love Love, and others.

She was playback singing for several renowned actresses when she started her career with him, including Karisma Kapoor, Smita Patil, Mandakini, Sridevi, Juhi Chawla, Madhuri Dixit, and Divya Bharti.

“Kaate Nahin Katthe” (Mr. India), which she recorded with Kishore Kumar in 1987 under the music direction of Laxmikant–Pyarelal, was one of her biggest songs of the 1980s.
