Akhil Pasreja, better known by his stage name Akhil, is a Punjabi playback singer, songwriter, and musician from India.
Akhil was born in Jalandhar, Punjab, India, on October 2, 1990. He received his education from Nurmahal, Jalandhar.
HSR Entertainment published his first single, “Muradaan,” in February 2014. . He did, however, sing a song called “Pee Lain De” in 2012.
In June 2016, he recorded a single called “Gani” with music composer “Manni Sandhu” for his album Welcome to the Future, which was released by Speed Records. He recorded the track “Life” with Bollywood actress Adah Sharma a year later.
His Punjabi-language track “Khaab,” published in February 2016, has become a YouTube hit. A Hindi adaptation of Khaab, Duniyaa, was recorded in February 2019 for the film Luka Chuppi.
He won “Best Breakthrough Act” at the Brit Asia TV Music Awards in 2017.
