Afsana Khan is a Punjabi playback singer,She has also acted in some of the songs and she also writes her songs. She was born on June 13, 1994, into a middle class family in village Badl, Shri Mukhtar Sahib, India. Her father ‘s name is late Sheera Khan, and her mother’s name is Asha Begum.
She comes from a musical family where her grandfather was a singer and her father was also a singer. Afsana completed her school life at Badal government Senior School.
Afsana is an Indian Punjabi playback singer, Afsana began her career as a singer at a very young age. Initially, she started singing for the sole reason of helping her family. Without any training in singing her voice is mellifluous.
She initially started singing in her village and at a local level. Gradually her voice was recognized. After this she got a chance to participate in the singing reality show “Voice of Punjab” season 3, where she made it into the top five.
Afsana performed marvellously singing as a contestant on the show and delighted the judges and audience with her voice. After this, one after one, she did many shows and sang many songs which became super popular on You Tube.
She has given her vocals to several hit songs. Her famous songs “Titliaan”, and “Dhakka”, co- authored are well-known.
She also appeared on the reality show Bigg Boss 15 in 2021 but was outset from the show after she allegedly tried to hurt herself in anger after having an emotional breakdown.
Recently she got married to her long time boyfriend, Saajz . Saajz is also a Punjabi singer. Both Afsana and Saajz got married on February 19, 2022.
